ginnybadger asked: oh hai look who's back on tumblr!
yeah. I decided this was more entertaining than writing a APUSH essay.
Weekend
I found this old post that was saved in my drafts from when I was at camp. Although this was from a while ago, I thought this would be an interesting blast from the past. I know I enjoyed reading and remembering the randomness of the summer. Hop you guys enjoy

“This weekend was awesome for the most part. On Saturday my room mate Adela ordered Bosnian food for dinner. We spent about 30 minutes trying to find a Bosnian place that would deliver. We found this one place that only delivered in a 4 mile radius, we were 7 miles away from the restaurant. Adela called the place and spoke Bosnian, and said something along the lines of “I’m at camp and haven’t eaten Bosnian food for almost a month, and the food here is american and disgusting please save me”. So they made an exception and it was amazing.
Saturday night for mandatory we went to the beach, although the beach was closed because of the rain storm. We ended up walking down to a lake side with a bunch of rocks. We played volley ball for a bit, than Morgan and I decided to walk down the rocks to the water. I got in the water for a bit, and we found a beach ball :). After mandatory we went to downtown evanston and got milkshakes. It was fun for the most part.
I think camp has taught me a lot of important things about life. I was kind of upset Saturday night for some dumb reason, and for the first time I couldn’t just go home and hide. This sounds kind of weird but I think I kind of realized that I should stop sweating the small stuff, because girls will always be bitchy and guys will always be clueless . I love Adela Redzic for that.

NEW SEMESTER
The new semester is like new year’s eve all over again. There is the same adrenaline that makes you want to do something better. It’s a combination of making it through the first half of the year and just excitement for the next. I want to chop off all my hair, be more organized, and just be a better person. I guess it’s just a second wave of “I can conquer the world”. It’s kind of odd though how quickly that can fade. Sometime’s I wish it was just that easy to change, just buying a new planner or going to a salon but it isn’t. I don’t think people can change who they are, but they can clean up their messes. Here’s to a hopefully better semester (with more blogging).
